PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a fixture for attaching a seal to a windshield glass improved in accuracy of a seal attaching position in relation to the windshield glass. SOLUTION: The fixture 10 having a long hole 14D in which a seal material is to be inserted is fitted to a lower end of the windshield glass 12, and after inserting the seal material 24 into the long hole 14D and attaching the seal material 24 to a glass surface (a seal material attached surface 12A) of the windshield glass 12, the fixture 10 is removed from the windshield glass 12.
