PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder which can calculate by a simple constitution a correction value when the rear end of a material to be recorded separates from a conveyance roller, and which can thereby carry out high-quality recording. SOLUTION: The recorder calculates a third correction value of a conveyance amount when the rear end of the material to be recorded comes out of the conveyance roller from a first correction value of the conveyance amount in a region where the material is conveyed by the conveyance roller and a paper discharging roller, and a second correction value of the conveyance amount in a region where the material is conveyed by only the paper discharging roller.
