A reflective element judging device (50) derives error factors in a first signal source (10) and a second signal source (20) in accordance with measuring results of signals in a state in which reflective elements (41, 42) are connected with the first and second signal sources (10, 20), respectively, and measuring results of signals in a state in which the first and second signal sources (10, 20) are connected through a transmission element (44). The reflective element judging device derives transmission characteristics of the transmission element (44) in accordance the measuring results in the state in which the first and second signal sources (10, 20) are connected through a transmission element (44) and the derived error factors. Whether the reflective elements (41, 42) realize a predetermined reflective state is judged in accordance with the derived transmission characteristics of the transmission element (44) and transmission characteristics of the transmission element (44) known prior to deriving them. In the transmission element (44), however, transmission characteristics in the direction from a first terminal (44a) to a second terminal (44b) are equal to ones in its reverse direction.
