<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone terminal in which a low-noise amplifier can be used in low-gain mode as much as possible and which can reduce current consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A digital signal processor 12 measures an RSSI level and sends a reception gain control signal and a mode switching signal for the LNA to an RF device 14 according to the measured value. The digital signal processor 12, on detecting a state of high-gain threshold being ≥RSSI, sends a signal to switch the LNA of the RF device 14 from a low-gain mode to a high-gain mode, so that the LNA of the RF device 14 is switched from the low-gain mode to the high-gain mode. The digital signal processor 12, on detecting a state of low-gain threshold being ≤RSSI, sends a signal to switch the LNA of the RF device 14 from the high-gain mode to the low-gain mode, so that the LNA of the RF device 14 is switched from the high-gain mode to the low-gain mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
