摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection timing control structure for a distribution type fuel injection pump, improving the whole performance of an engine while satisfying requirements for different injection starting timings in different conditions of operating the same engine. <P>SOLUTION: In an upper pump housing 28a between a sub port 42 and a drain circuit 51, there is arranged an on-off valve structure part incorporating a valve chest oil passage 45 having an oiltight function and a valve element 46 displaceable in the valve chest oil passage 45. A valve element operation part 47 is arranged at one end on the upper side of the valve element 46. The valve element operation part 47 is an electromagnetic solenoid 47e. An on-off valve is controlled by the on-off operation of the electromagnetic solenoid 47e, and the electromagnetic solenoid 47e is automatically controlled by a temperature detecting means. When the engine being stopped or started is not warmed up, the electromagnetic solenoid 47e is energized to quicken a fuel injection timing. When the engine is warmed up and kept at a certain temperature or higher, the electromagnetic solenoid 47e is deenergized to retard the fuel injection timing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
