<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter being high in contrast, excellent in lightfastness and wide in color reproducing area, a cyan-colored composition to be used for manufacturing the color filter and a liquid crystal display device capable of reproducing clear-cut and bright colors. <P>SOLUTION: The cyan-colored composition contains a phthalocyanine blue pigment comprising either or both of C.I. Pigment Blue 15:3 and C.I. Pigment Blue 15:4, a phthalocyanine green pigment comprising C.I. Pigment Green 7, and a pigment carrier. The color filter comprises a cyan-colored filter segment formed from the cyan-colored composition, a red-colored filter segment, a green-colored filter segment and a blue-colored filter segment or comprises the red-colored filter segment, the green-colored filter segment, the blue-colored filter segment and a yellow-colored filter segment formed by using a yellow-colored composition comprising a yellow pigment, a pigment dispersant and the pigment carrier. The liquid crystal display device includes the color filter and a pseudo-white LED light source having spectral properties shown in Fig. 4, a cold-cathode fluorescent tube light source or a three-color LED light source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
