PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multicore current introduction terminal carrying out electric connection by penetrating a vacuum vessel, along with a cable using it, in multicore, and preventing unnecessary discharge in the vacuum vessel. SOLUTION: This multicore current introduction terminal is provided with conductors of a plurality of cores, and an insulator for keeping insulation between the conductors and the vacuum vessel, and between the individual conductors. The multicore current introduction terminal composed by forming through-holes for inserting the conductors in the insulator, and forming recessed parts on the vacuum side of the through-holes is used. In a root of the conductor 1, one end of a heat shrinkable tube 32 is fixed in a state inserted into the recessed part of the insulator 2. Since the recessed part 2a has a depth of 2-5 mm and can sufficiently absorb dispersion of contraction of the heat shrinkable tube, a vacuum atmosphere exposure part is not generated in the conductor 1.
