PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the stretching of arms to be comfortably performed by pinching and fixing the arms by air bags without obstructing feeling of massaging by an inexpensive constitution while saving the space in a chair-type massaging machine. SOLUTION: This massaging machine 1 is equipped with a seat section 2 for a person to be treated to sit on, a backrest section 3 which has a reclining mechanism for performing a rising/tilting motion, right and left armrest sections 4 for placing the arms, the air bags 5, a control section 6, and an operation section 7. In this case, the air bag 5 is arranged on the armrest section 4, and pinches and fixes the arm being placed on the armrest section 4 by being expanded by the air feeding from an air feeding pump 10. The control section 6 controls the rising/tilting motion of the backrest section 3, and at the same time, controls the air feeding to the air bags 5. The operation section 7 is used by the person to be treated for giving an indication to the control section 6. The control section 6 controls the air feeding by the air feeding pump 10 in such a manner that the air feeding to the air bag 5 may intermittently be performed when the backrest section 3 is tilted by controlling the reclining mechanism in response to the operation indication by the operation section 7 for performing the stretching of the arms.
