PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window regulator which has a simple structure, which enables a wire to be easily locked to a carrier plate, which makes the wire be easily locked to a carrier plate, and which makes the wire hardly come off from the carrier plate. SOLUTION: A locking member 7 is attached to the end of the wire 6. The carrier plate 3 comprises a wire storage groove 14 which is formed in the upper portion of one side surface and into which one end of the wire 6 is to be obliquely pulled from below, and an engaging hole 15 which continues into the back of the wire storage groove 14. The engaging hole 15 is formed in such a shape that the locking member 7 is inserted from a top surface of the carrier plate 3 so as to be rotatable in the direction of one side surface of the carrier plate 3. Protrusive pieces 19 and 21 for regulating the coming-off of the locking member 7 are provided at the opening end of the engaging hole 15. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
