PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning liquid for body wearing parts having excellent cleaning effects on the body wearing parts represented by a wrist watch, a bracelet, a necklace, a finger-ring, spectacles, etc., without causing discoloration in the body wearing parts and to provide a method for cleaning using the cleaning liquid. SOLUTION: Problems are solved by using the cleaning liquid for the body wearing parts characterized in that the cleaning liquid is an aqueous solution comprising 20.0-30.0 wt.% of an ethylene glycol (7 number of repetitions) monoalkyl (11-15C) ether and 15.0-20.0 wt.% of lauryldimethylamine oxide. The cleaning liquid for the body wearing parts which is preferably an aqueous solution comprising 24.0-26.0 wt.% of the ethylene glycol (7 number of repetitions) monoalkyl (11-15C) ether and 17.0-18.0 wt.% of the lauryldimethylamine oxide is provided.
