PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film fitting apparatus which has no need of replacing a mandrel even when a cylindrical film is changed to one that has a different folding diameter as long as the folding diameter of the cylindrical film is within a certain range. SOLUTION: An opening shape-adjusting means 40 adjusts the shape of a label L into a subscribed opening shape when the label L is fitted on a bottle B. The opening shape-adjusting means 40 includes the mandrel 42 fixed to a supporting member 41 that moves up and down, and the attachment height of the mandrel 42 to the support member 41 can be adjusted. The mandrel 42 has a plurality of opening/closing rods 44 inserted in the label L, a base part 43 which supports each opening/closing lever 44 to be opened and closed, a cam follower 45a fixed to the base end part of each opening/closing rod 44, and a spring which energizes each opening/closing rod 44 in a closing direction. An operating shaft 45b has cam faces with different outer diameters, and the outer peripheral surface on which the cam followers 45a abuts.
