SUCTION NOZZLE ASSEMBLY FOR A VACUUM CLEANER

A suction nozzle assembly for a vacuum cleaner is provided to suck sewage on the surface to be cleaned effectively by installing a rotation drum rotated by friction force with the surface to be cleaned. A suction nozzle assembly for a vacuum cleaner comprises a nozzle bodies(2) including a sewage suction port, and a rotation drum(20) having plural projections(63) at the outer periphery rotated in the sewage suction port of the nozzle bodies. The rotation drum is rotated by friction force of the surface to be cleaned with plural projections if the nozzle bodies move. A rotation restriction unit restricts rotation of the rotation drum, and rotates the rotation drum in one direction. The rotation restriction unit also consists of ratchet wheels(31) integrated with the rotation drum, and ratchet poles(33) installed at the nozzle body to rotate the ratchet wheels in one direction. The rotation drum also includes a drum main body, and a removing unit with the plural projections assembled with the drum main body.
