<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointer display control device which can perform automatically a recurrence prevention of a malfunction of a capacitance detection type touch pad. <P>SOLUTION: The pointer display control device controls a location of a pointer displayed on a screen of a display based on an input data from a capacitance detection touch pad. It has a determination section which determines, based on a moving rate of the pointer e.g., whether the pointer has moved to a location which a user does not intend by the malfunction of the capacitance detection type touch pad; and a detection sensitivity setting section which makes low a detection sensitivity of the capacitance detection type touch pad when the determination section determines that the pointer has moved to the location which the user does not intend by the malfunction of the capacitance detection type touch pad. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
