PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic equipment capable of reducing a click sound by partly evading an interfering point of a cabinet and the key button main body at clicking the key button main body. SOLUTION: This mobile telephone has a basic constitution that the key button 2 by a four-way key button 21 of a structure that electric contact can be obtained by a seesaw method corresponding to a push-down operation at four points in vertical and lateral directions is integrated in the cabinet composed of a front case 1 and a rear cover 3. In the front case 1, a flange receiving part 11 which is in the key button 2 main body and which becomes a support part against a flange 22 installed as the flange at the whole surrounding inside the cabinet is separated and locally installed in a convex state at nearly intermediate position of the respective points of the vertical and lateral directions. In a part between the respective flange receiving parts 11, a flange release part 12 which is notched in a recessed state and which becomes a release part at the press-down operation at the respective points of the different vertical and lateral directions of the flange 22 is formed, thereby the click sound reduction function structure is established by these.
