PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obviate the impairment of the smoothness of the advance and retreat operation of a disk tray and the impairment of the smoothness of the operation of a cam mechanism even if the excess shocks of falling or the like are accidentally applied to a disk device. SOLUTION: The disk device comprises an oscillating member 4 oscillated between an operation position where an optical pickup is opposed to a disk surface and a retract position where the optical pickup is retracted from the operation position and detached from the disk surface, a chassis 1 mounted with the oscillating member 4, a guide mechanism 6 functioning to enhance the position accuracy in the operation position of the oscillating member 4, and a cam mechanism 5 for oscillating the oscillating member 4. A stopper mechanism 7 for obstructing the retract operation when the oscillating member 4 retracts beyond the retract position is additionally provided. The stopper mechanism 7 is provided with a stationary side engagement section 71 on the chassis side and a movable side engagement section 75 on a shift lever 51 side. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
