<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dissolution solvent which can dissolve a cellulose compound at a relatively low temperature in a short time to give a colorless solution, and to provide a method for dissolving the cellulose compound. <P>SOLUTION: This dissolution solvent (I) for the cellulose compounds, comprising an ion liquid (A) and, water (B) and/or a water-miscible organic solvent (C), is characterized in that the content of the water (B) in the dissolution solvent is 6.0 to 10.0 wt.%, and the solubility of the water-miscible organic solvent (C) in 100 g of water at 20°C is≥3 g. A cellulose compound solution comprises the dissolution solvent and a cellulose compound. A method for dissolving a cellulose compound comprises adding the cellulose compound to the dissolution solvent and then stirring the mixture at 40 to 100°C, until the dissolution is finished. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
