PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a structure for satisfactory measurement accuracy of a state quantity in which gaps δ0, δ180between a surface to be detected of an encoder 4a and detection parts of respective sensors 6a1, 6c2in a neutral state are not uselessly large, respectively. SOLUTION: The gaps δ0, δ180are not made into the same dimension but the gaps δ0, δ180are provided with mutual dimensional relationship of δ0<δ180corresponding to the amounts of decrease in the gaps δ0, δ180during operation.
