摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a two-dimensional crystal with a large surface area, few defects and crystal axes aligned. SOLUTION: An aqueous medium containing amphiphilic particles are developed over the whole region of a hydrophilic surface of a substrate having a hydrophilic surface region in contact with a hydrophobic surface region to form a contact line of three phases, i.e., a gas phase, liquid phase and solid phase, along a boundary line between the hydrophilic region and the hydrophobic region. The two-dimensional crystal of the amphiphilic particles starting from the contact line is formed in the gas-liquid interface nearly perpendicularly to the contact line. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
