PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine having entertainability and its playing method. SOLUTION: A symbol 181 to be scattered is decided by being selected from a plurality of symbols 180 at random. The symbols 180 are rearranged on a display. Dividend is given, which are decided by the combination of the symbols 180 rearranged on a pay line. When the symbols 181 to be scattered, the number of which is larger than a predetermined number, are rearranged, the symbols 181 to be scattered are set as scattering symbols 182.
