The hand operated cutting device has cutting tool which is formed by a plunger (1) assigned to one of the welded joint of the pipe connection (7) with an integrated hole (4) and boundary layer of the hole forms cutting edges (5). The plunger in a guiding body (2) held in clamped manner by holding elements (3). The welded joint of the pipe connection is held by a corresponding recess (6) of the guiding body (2) as well as is held by an assigned back support (8) in clamped manner.
