<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify processing required for rotation drive of an electric motor, in a valve timing regulator for regulating valve timing by rotation-driving the electric motor along a normal-rotational direction same that of an internal combustion engine or a reverse-rotational direction. <P>SOLUTION: This valve timing regulator is provided with a drive circuit for feedback-controlling electrification to the electric motor, based on a target rotation speed Rt of the electric motor and an actual rotation speed Rr thereof, and for rotation-driving the electric motor along a target rotational direction Dt, and the feedback control is stopped when changing the target rotational direction Dt, by an action of a nullification switch part 94 of the drive circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
