<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display in which the luminance nonuniformity due to delay differences in the gate signals is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes a first substrate, having a display region, a second substrate facing the first substrate, and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, wherein the first substrate comprises a gate line 121 which is disposed in the display region and a gate pad 124, which is disposed out of the display region, and a resistor section 163, which electrically connects the gate line and the gate pad, and comprises a material having a resistance larger than that of the gate line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
