<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of optical element capable of precisely cutting a polarizing film into a predetermined size, with respect to the manufacturing method of optical element for manufacturing an optical element having such a structure that optical elements are respectively attached to both surfaces of a polarizing layer. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of optical element comprises: a support film attachment process for attaching support films 50, 60 onto a polarizing film 40 constituting the polarizing layer; a polarizing film cutting process for cutting the polarizing film 40 in a predetermined size while attaching the support films 50, 60 onto both surfaces of the polarizing film 40; a first stripping process for stripping the support film 50 from the polarizing film 40; a first optical element attaching process for attaching a light-transmissive substrate 20 onto one side surface of the polarizing film 40; a second stripping process for stripping the support film 60 from the polarizing film 40; and a second optical element attaching process for attaching a light-transmissive substrate 30 onto the other side surface of the polarizing film 40, in the order. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
