<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make polarity for a printed board press-in procedure unnecessary so as not to become an obstacle to other contacts even when a printed board is first mounted to either press fit part, in relation to a connector for double-ended press fit. <P>SOLUTION: This connector 1 for double-ended press fit is a connector for press fit contacts which is composed by including, in a fixing hole of an insulation housing 7, press fit contacts 6 each composed by forming press fit parts 2 and 3 at both its ends, forming lead-out part 4 at its center part, and forming engagement parts 5 between the lead-out part 4 and the press fit parts 2 and 3 with the press fit parts 2 and 3 at both ends exposed to the outside, and in which coming-off prevention means 4a, 4b and 5 to prevent the press fit contacts 6 from coming off in the longitudinal direction are formed on the lead-out parts 4 or the engagement parts 5, and embedded in the insulation housing 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
