PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the opening/closing of a lid panel, and to ensure the housing and the storage of a recording medium. SOLUTION: This package for recording medium includes a supporting panel 1a and the lid panel 1b which are integrally formed and closed when being bent to each other, and houses and stores a recording medium in a pocket 6 which is formed on the supporting panel 1a. In the package for recording medium, a standing up surface (lead) 4 having a large number of vertical perforations is inserted in a space between the supporting panel 1a and the lid panel 1b. When the lid panel 1b is closed, the standing up surface 4 having a triangular cross section appears which stands up to the inside of a support paper 2.
