PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift device capable of suppressing any gear shift operation not intended by a driver. SOLUTION: In the shift device, the gear shift position of an automatic transmission is changed based on the combined operation of two shift operating members 22d, 22r. In other words, based on the combination of ON signals to be output from switches 27d1, 27d2 and switches 27r1, 27r2 for detecting the operational positions of the shift operating members 22d, 22r, the shift operating members are changed to the gear shift position allocated in advance according to the combination of the ON signals.
