PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building, constructed lightweightedly and inexpensively, easily forming a dynamic space extending between upper and lower floor layers, and facilitating large-scale remodeling such as movement of a partition wall. SOLUTION: An external structure 10 of the building 1 such as an outer wall 11 or a roof 12 is constructed, and internal unit bodies 30 such as a habitable room 31 and a staircase 32 are accommodated structurally separated from the external structure 10 in the interior of the external structure 10. The external structure 10 is formed by rigidly joining a foundation beam 13, a plurality of pillars erected on the foundation beam 13, and an upper beam 15 stretched between the adjacent pillars 14.
