The switch (1) has a contact system that consists of a movable switching contact and a fixed contact, and a movable actuating body (7) for switching the contact system. An elastic unit acts together with the switching contact and/or the actuating body for retraction, where the elastic unit is designed as a flat spring coupled with the slider. The switching contact is designed as a slider and the fixed contact is designed as a contact surface such that the slider acts together with the contact surface during switching. The slider moves to the contact surface and/or is moved from the surface.
