<p>In a P2P type contents distribution system having a plurality of terminal devices dispersively arranged on a network, if contents data are publically accessible for listening, a contents distribution system, its information processing method, etc. are provided to make it possible to avoid concentration of access to a specific terminal device. When the terminal device composing the contents distribution system detects user's acquiring request operation of contents data, it acquires and stores the contents data in compliance with the acquiring request operation from other terminal devices through the network. When other terminal devices then request the terminal device to transmit the stored data, it transmits the contents data corresponding to the transmission request to the other terminal devices. On one hand, when a reservation period for the acquired contents data is not terminated, the terminal device limits the reproduction of the contents data. On the other hand, when the reservation period for the acquired contents data is terminated, the terminal device makes it possible to reproduce the contents data.</p> |
