A method for detecting the state of tracing task includes the following steps: computes the token abstract according to the tracing token information; verifies if the token abstract is altered; if the token abstract isn't altered, the tracing task is proved not to be juggled; and if the token abstract is altered, the tracing task is proved to be juggled. The corresponding system, tracing agent and tracing control server for detecting the state of tracing task are also provided in the present invention. The present invention can detect the state of tracing task effectively and judge if the task is juggled by means of computing and verifying the token abstract's alternation.
