<p>An airbag and an airbag device, in which a vent hole is closed or has a small opening until the internal pressure of the airbag is above a predetermined level, and the vent hole is opened or has a large opening when the internal pressure of the airbag is above the predetermined level and, simultaneously, an occupant is in contact with the airbag. A vent hole (18) is provided in the rear panel (14) of the airbag (10) and covered with a lid member (60) from the inside of the airbag (10). A suspension belt (80), which connects, in the airbag (10), a front panel (12) and a rear panel (14) together, and the lid member (60) are connected by a tether (70). At a portion closer to the center of the airbag (10) than the vent hole, the tether (70) is held between the front panel (12) and the rear panel (14) and they are releasably joined together by linear bonding portions (22, 24).</p> |
