<p>In order to provide a generator in which efficiency can be enhanced by reducing thrust acting on a thrust bearing, and a gas turbine power generation facility employing it, the stator of the generator is arranged to be able to move in the axial direction of the thrust bearing. When thrust is generated in the thrust bearing due to displacement of the magnetic centers of the stator and rotor of the generator, for example, the stator is moved in the axial direction to bring the magnetic centers of the stator and rotor closer to each other. When thrust is generated in the thrust bearing due to the difference in thrust force between a gas turbineand an air compressor, thrust is suppressed by utilizing magnetic attraction force between the stator and rotor of the generator and the thrust acting on the thrust bearing is reduced, as a result, thus reducing bearing loss and suppressing fall of efficiency.</p> |
