<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetoresistive element showing a high magnetic resistivity in a room temperature by using only organic materials, a method for manufacturing this, and its utilization. <P>SOLUTION: In this magnetoresistive element, a molecule whose oxidation reduction is possible with electronic spin is arranged on a substrate. Since the oxidation reduction of the molecule is possible, when currents are applied to the magnetoresistive element, electronic transmission occurs between the molecules. Also, since the molecule has electronic spin, paramagnetism is obtained. Therefore, it is possible to achieve the magnetoresistive element showing a high magnetic resistivity in a room temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
