<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the positional slippage of a connector contact resulting from the expanding deformation of an ink cartridge from occurring. <P>SOLUTION: This positional slippage preventing apparatus 1 for the connector contact is applied to a cartridge holder peripheral member 30 which is equipped with an ink cartridge C for each color, a cartridge holder 8, a relay board 34, connectors 38A, 38B, 38C, 38D and 38E and a connector holder 39, and is constituted in such a manner that the connector holder 39 may be attached to the cartridge holder 8 by a cartridge slot unit under a positioned state. In this case, on the ink cartridge C for each color, a cartridge side substrate 31 is installed. The cartridge holder 8 is equipped with a plurality of cartridge slots 7A, 7B, 7C, 7D and 7E which can house the ink cartridge C. The relay substrate 34 transmits ink information which is taken out from the cartridge side substrate 31 to a main substrate 33. The connectors 38A, 38B, 38C, 38D and 38E have a connector contact 37 which comes into contact with the electric contacts 35 and 36 of the cartridge side substrate 31 and the relay substrate 34.
