<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a software development support device and a software development support method, allowing efficient collection of information useful for the development of software without depending on environment of a device executing the software. <P>SOLUTION: A video input part 11 inputs a video signal from a computer. An arithmetic part 13 performs image processing of the video signal input to the video input part 11 to detect the video signal including specific information.
