<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To request a plurality of service providing agencies to promptly stop services in response to one report from a user about the theft or loss of a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal 2 applies for registration in an information processor 3 (S101). In response to this application for registration, the information processor 3 performs registration via a notification of the acceptance of the registration (S102) and the payment of a registration fee (S103) and notifies the terminal 2 of the completion of registration (S104). In the event of theft or loss of a recording medium, the terminal 2 reports the theft or loss to the information processor 3 (S105). The information processor 3 receives this report and requests authentication information from the terminal 2 (S106). In response to this request, the terminal 2 sends the authentication information (S107). The information processor 3 receives the authentication information from the terminal 2 and obtains the authentication information corresponding to user specification information received in S105 so as to collate the two pieces of authentication information with each other.
