SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire provided with a tread member 3 with a block section 5 demarcated by a rib groove 4, the 100°C100% modulus of the surface layer of the rib groove 4 is made between or equal to 1.10 times and 2.0 times of that inside the block section 5.
