<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensor which measures the pressure of a liquid in an extra-corporeal circulating circuit, while preventing the liquid from coming into contact with air, and has a structure capable of detecting the pressure with high accuracy with one type of pressure sensor, without adjusting the amount of air on the side of an air chamber. <P>SOLUTION: The pressure sensor is equipped with an air-chamber side container having an air inlet and outlet; a liquid-chamber side container having a liquid inflowing port and a liquid outflowing port; a flexible diaphragm which is sandwiched by the air-chamber side container and the liquid-chamber side container and partitions the air chamber and the liquid chamber, and deforms, according to the difference between the inside pressure of the air chamber and the inside pressure of the liquid chamber; and an appliance which is connected to the air inlet and outlet of the air-chamber side container through a communicating portion, and measures the inside pressure of the liquid chamber via the diaphragm on the air-chamber side. The air chamber and the liquid chamber of the pressure sensor have volumes suitable for a measurement pressure range, and the diaphragm is designed so as to be in the shape of a flat plate, when the pressures of the air chamber and the liquid chamber are 0 mmHg. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
