PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently unify contents of a plurality of address tables. SOLUTION: This network repeater is provided with a plurality of ports, a plurality of relay processing parts and a table managing part. Each relay processing part has a storing part for storing an address table, a transmission port specifying part, an update determining part and a table updating part. The transmission port specifying part uses at least a destination address of received data and the address table to specify a transmission port of the received data among a plurality of ports. The update determining part determines whether to update the address table about the transmission source address of the received data. The table managing part is provided with an update contents acquiring part and an update requesting part. The update contents acquiring part acquires update contents of the address table from any of the plurality of relay processing parts when determining that the address table is to be updated.
