PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network unit management system having a function for evaluating the failure characteristics of a plurality of models of network unit and the failure characteristics which vary as the number of installed units increases/decreases in addition to a reliability evaluation means based on the hardware failure factors of the network unit, and to provide network unit management method and program. SOLUTION: The network unit management system comprises a failure information DB 12 for storing failure information including the model information of a network unit in which the failure occurred, a network unit DB 15 for storing the failure rate of a plurality of network units for every model, the information of the number of units, and the unit model information including the operation startup date and time, and a means 14 for evaluating the reliability of the units for every model based on the content stored in the failure information DB 12 and the network unit DB 15.
