PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator of high storage efficiency and high convenience. SOLUTION: This refrigerator comprises a refrigerating compartment 53 having an opening portion at its front face for storing objects, a single swinging door 65 capable of opening and closing the opening portion of the refrigerating compartment 53, a shelf board 123 disposed over a left side face to a right side face of the refrigerating compartment 53 in a bridged state and having right and left depth dimensions different from each other, and a door pocket 97 having a depth dimension corresponding to the depth dimension of the shelf board 123 in closing the door 65 and disposed on an inner wall of the door 65 in a state of projecting inward.
