PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering switch device having a rotation driving structure of a comparatively high load including an operation knob, which is made compact and is composed of a less number of components and of which the size of a whole device is made smaller and the assembling work made easier. SOLUTION: The steering switch device 3 includes a supporting member 4 which is an assembly of a front case part 13 and a rear case part 14 and is fixed on a spoke part 1b, an operation knob 5 which is axially fixed with the front case 13 and can be operated in inclination, a coil spring 11 and a pushing piece 10 assembled in a holder part 5c of the operation knob 5, a rubber switch 9 which is elastically deformed when pushed in a driving part 5d of the operation knob 5 in an operation in inclination and a circuit board 7 having a fixed contact point 16 which can be attached to and detached from a movable contact point 12 in the rubber switch 9. In an inner wall of the front case 13, there are provided a supporting axis 13d which can be inserted and coupled rotatable into an axial hole 5b of the operation knob 5 and a cam face 13e with which the pushing piece 10, energized by the coil spring 11, contacts elastically.
