PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alarm system for effectively storing image data even in the case of monitoring the image data in a long time. SOLUTION: This alarm system is provided with a responder 2 having a unique ID; a radio communication means for acquiring the ID of the responder 2 by wirelessly communicating with the responder 2; a person count sensor 4 as a human detection means for detecting a human body from an image picked up by an image pickup device 3; and an alarm means. The alarm means is configured to give an alarm when the ID is not readable after the human body is detected, or when the read ID is not authorized ID. This alarm system is provided with a storage means for storing only an image picked up in a fixed time before and after the human body is detected and a transfer means for transferring the image stored by the storage means to an image receiver 8.
