PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem with ejection of foreign matter such as a coin dropped from a money insert duct to a conveying part since such foreign matter is stuck in a regulation part and cannot be discharged to a return container for foreign matter from a conveying belt when foreign matters accumulate. SOLUTION: In the medium processor, a bottom part of a duct is formed into a comb shape, and below it, the conveying part constructed of an endless conveying belt conveying foreign matter is arranged, while on the downstream of the conveying part, the return container for foreign matter is mounted via the regulation part allowing passage of only foreign matter with designated height. Foreign matters accumulated on the conveying belt are discharged to the return container after accumulated foreign matters are collapsed on the conveying belt. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
