PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nameplate capable of keeping, even when the form of a name card or the position of a decoration is changed, the good positional relationship between the decoration and the main body part of the nameplate. SOLUTION: The name plate comprises the main body part 1 capable of holding a name card, and a mounting part 2 that can be vertically or horizontally fixed to the main body part 1. An assembling piece 10 is provided projectingly toward the outside on one end of the mounting part 2, and the main body part 1 is provided with assembling hole parts 8 and 9 to which the assembling piece 10 can be assembled. When the name card is horizontally written type, the assembling piece 10 is assembled to a first assembling hole part 8. When the name card is vertically written type, the assembling piece 10 is assembled to a second assembling hole part 9.
