PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoe reducing an energy loss in running and walking by exerting an active operation. SOLUTION: The sole 3 of this shoe 1 has a main member 4 and a reinforcing member 5, and the reinforcing member 5 is provided on a grounding side surface of the main member 4. The reinforcing member 5 is extended at least from a tarsometatarsal joint part 7 to a metatarsophalangeal articulation part 8 in the grounding side surface of the main member 4, and the impact resilience of the material of the reinforcing member 5 is set higher than the impact resilience of the material of the main member 4.
