A device for producing ion water is provided to allow a user to recognize a state of a filter in naked eyes, thereby easily checking the replacement time of the filter, by forming a housing of the device of a transparent material. A water purifier comprises a cylindrical housing(10), a ceramic filter(20) within the housing, a cap(30) at an entrance side of the housing, an input tube(40) penetrating a bottom surface from a lower portion of the housing and supplying water into the housing, and a water purification tube(50) extended through the cap from an exit side of the ceramic filter. The housing is formed of a transparent material so that a state of the filter is checkable in naked eyes. A photo-catalytic coating layer(11) is formed on an inner surface of the housing. The cap is joined to the housing by using a hook-shaped settling element(63) and a settling portion(60) joined to the settling element and having a handle(62). The settling element and the settling portion are disjoined by opening the handle. Further, the water purifier additionally comprises a cap reinforcing part and a housing reinforcing part.
