<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight and cost of a cylinder head cover while securing required rigidity without increasing the plate thickness of the cylinder head cover by making smaller an opening formed at the cylinder head cover in the case of attaching a valve case for receiving an oil control valve therein to the cylinder head cover. <P>SOLUTION: The valve case 10 includes a cylindrical portion 40 for inserting the oil control valve 5 therein and a flange 45 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion 40. The cylindrical portion 40 is so arranged as to extend inclining to the upper wall 1a of the cylinder head cover 1. The upper wall 1a has the opening 15a into which the cylindrical portion 40 is inserted and a cover-side seal portion 15b formed along the flange 45. In such a state that the valve case 10 is attached to the cylinder head cover 1, a space between the flange 45 and the cover-side seal portion 15b is sealed by a seal member 29. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
