<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle controller for a vehicle with a navigation device mounted thereon having a drive recorder function. <P>SOLUTION: A drive recorder function is incorporated in a steering ECU(controller) 10. For this purpose, the controller 10 is provided with function implementation units which includes a memory 22 as a data logging section, a memory controlling section 23, a threshold determination section 24 and a data transfer timing output section 25. Vehicle information and steering information are time-sequentially stored in a first memory 221, and data recorded in several tens of second before and after a movement when vehicle acceleration exceeds a predetermined threshold are logged by a second memory 222.
