MACHINE AND METHOD FOR FORMING MEANDERING ANNULAR WINDING COIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming machine and a forming method capable of manufacturing an annular winding coil having a plurality of meandering sections efficiently.

SOLUTION: The forming machine of the annular winding coil having the plurality of meandering sections arranged in the stator of a motor comprises a first die unit 30 having a plurality of first dies separated at even intervals circumferentially, and a second die unit 60 having a plurality of second dies that are separated at even intervals equal to even intervals circumferentially and are arranged between first mutually adjacent dies. Each of the second dies has a coil holder for holding the annular winding coil. There are coil diameter reduction means for reducing an annular winding coil 82 in a diametric direction according to the axial displacement of the first die unit to the annular winding coil held by the coil holder at the first and second die units each.
